Timo Brunner, M.Sc.
Timo initially studied International Business Studies at the Technische Hochschule Nuremberg and gained first international experiences during his stays in Spain and Hong Kong. In his bachelor thesis Timo dealt with the topic of how SMEs can attract and develop digital talents. He completed his master´s degree in European Economic Studies at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg focusing on economic policy and innovation management. Parallelly, Timo worked for the Innovation & Transformation department at Fraunhofer IIS. The topic of his master thesis addressed the question of how a financial transaction tax effects a financial market. Between the two degrees Timo was able to gain first professional experience in the field of Financial Statement Audit while working at Ernst & Young.
Since January 2021, Timo is part of the team at the Center for Leading Innovation and Cooperation (CLIC) at the HHL Leipzig Graduate School. As research associate Timo will mainly support the work on the EU project IMPACT. The aim of IMPACT is to conduct research on how Europe can advance its capacity and efficiency with regard to sustainability-oriented innovation and entrepreneurship (SOIE) and, how the outcome can be transferred to internal and external stakeholders.
